How To Prepare Egusi Soup



INGREDIENTS 



4cups of Egusi (melon) 


3 Maggi cubes 

Shredded vegetable leaves (ugu), and washed

Dry fish 

Beef Meat

Water if needed 

Salt

Ogiri (Igbo native flavour) 

Crayfish 

Stock fish 

Palm oil 3tablespoon


STEPS

Firstly, steam your dry fish, stock fish and meat with onion, salt, spiece, pepper etc and get them ready. 






Boil the palm oil and add Egusi when hot,

Use the oil to coat the Egusi very well and fry for a long time to give you a very good taste,

Add steamed stuff gradually and stir, 

Add salt, crayfish, Maggi  and ogiri,

Leave to boil, you may add water if you wish and leave for some minutes 

Add shredded vegetables and leave for some minutes and, 

Best served with fufu
